Kieler Woche — Day 3

Monday 22nd June, 2009

Today brought more light winds, and it took the entire day to complete the repechage stages to determine the final two teams who will compete in the quarter finals. Having already qualified for the quarters by winning the first round robin group, this unfortunately means we didn’t sail at all today.

Julie Bossard (FRA) and Katie Spithill (AUS) won their respective repechage today to join ourselves, Nicky Souter (AUS), Paula Lewin (BER), Renee Groeneveld (NED), Silke Hahlbrock (GER) and Genny Tulloch (USA) to form the final eight.

So we’re hoping for some more breeze tomorrow and look forward to being out on the water again and getting stuck in to the quarter finals!
