Credit: The finals of Kiel Week were raced on Wednesday and although we were disappointed not to be sailing, it was a good chance to watch some racing and more detailed sailing of the boats. The finals ended up an all Australian affair with Spithill finally beating Souter 3-2 and Bossard’s French team taking 3rd.
Next stop for us is now Match Cup Sweden on Tuesday where we’ll be racing the DS37s. These are the same boats as will be used for the World Championships at the end of July so it will be a good reference for us against the fleet. The event is also held at the same time as the men’s event so we look forward to watch their racing take place. Racing begins on Wednesday.
