While training recently we have been working on a number of areas, but particularly in our communication and how best to split the roles and responsibilities between us — one of the best ways of testing this out is to go racing. Therefore this weekend we have an entry to an open Grade 3 event at Circolo della Vela Brindisi, Italy, sailing in J/22s. The event is a great chance for us to have a good last event of the year against some new competition (all men’s teams) before our next event in the new year, the Miami Olympic Classes Regatta, where we shall begin the defence of our ISAF Sailing World Cup title.
